I was there for an hour for pain in my abdomen. They didn’t give me any drugs so I don’t know what that charge is for, the labs they ran and wanted 1,083 dollars for was analyzing my urine. CT scan took 20 minutes. Without insurance this small trip (because I felt something was wrong) would have cost me almost $7,000 which is about 2 and 1/3rds months paychecks for me. (United States) American healthcare is so fucked.
