Hatzolah is a volunteer EMS organization serving areas with mostly Jewish populations in New York.
Collisions involving ambulances happen regularly across the country, and are often caused by failure to yield the right of way to emergency vehicles.
I'm betting the deceased will still be invoiced for the ambulance "ride".
