Fort Bliss soldier, 19, is found dead while on holiday leave in Texas just days after body of another Private First Class was discovered in her barracks on New Year's Eve
A Fort Bliss soldier has died while on he was on holiday leave this week, just days after a servicewoman's death on the base.
Private First Class Nylyn Eady, 19, was found dead in Converse, Texas, on Monday, sparking an investigation by local police.
Eady served as an intelligence analyst with the 1st Armored Brigade Combat Team.
He joined the US Army in July 2019 from Odenton, Maryland. Fort Bliss was his first duty station, according to officials.

Eady was on holiday leave from Fort Bliss at the time of his death, which is now being investigated by the local police
Eady's death comes just four days after 19-year-old Pfc Asia Graham was found unresponsive in her barracks on the base in El Paso and was later pronounced dead.
As of Thursday afternoon, the US Army have not revealed how either soldier died, or whether the two deaths were in any way connected.
Like Eady, Graham, of Cherryville, North Carolina, joined the Army in July 2019 and Fort Bliss was her first duty station.
Graham's family said she was sexually assaulted by another soldier while serving as a human resources specialist at Fort Bliss and reported the incident to her superiors.
'She was ready to fight,' said her brother, Andrew Koenigsfeld. 'Then that got taken away.'
He described his sister as having a 'heart of gold' and said she was a motivational force.
'Every day, every time I talked to my sister, she always preaches, 'Go get your goals.' What do you want to do with your life?' Koenigsfeld said.
Eady joined the US Army in July 2019 from Odenton, Maryland. Fort Bliss was his first duty station, according to officials.

'The Ready First family mourns the loss of our friend, teammate, and fellow soldier, Pfc. Eady. We extend our heartfelt condolences to his Family and loved ones, ' Col. Stephen Fairless, Commander of 1st Armored Brigade Combat Team, said in a statement. 'Pfc. Nylyn Eady made a lasting, positive impact upon the entire 16th Engineer Battalion and his loss is felt across our Brigade.
'He served his Nation with dignity and respect; we will honor his service and his memory.'
Eady, who went by the nickname 'Slim Jim' on social media, would have celebrated his 20th birthday on January 30.
'I've found, in my experience, it's rare to come across teenagers with a completely wholesome demeanor and purely innocent spirit,' wrote a friend on Facebook, 'but that's all I saw when I looked at and interacted with Nylyn Slim Jim Eady. It's crushing to think that this young man is gone.'
