Ben Shapiro calls this New York Times piece “the single greatest opinion piece of all time,” which is great, because it’s about Sean Spicer and “Dancing with the Stars,” which as we know already has many people triggered. How should Spicer even be allowed on TV, let alone survive week after week of a dance contest?

Bad dancing by a nonprofessional can be disarming. It allows you to see the truth within the body that reveals character. But Mr. Spicer, the former White House press secretary and communications director for President Trump, is something worse: an untruthful dancer.…Watching Mr. Spicer try to wipe away some of his disgrace through dancing hurts. Yet here he is, week after week, using dance as a way to redeem his character. Giving the public the chance to laugh with him — dressed as a buffoon in that scary green ruffled shirt, dancing to “Spice Up Your Life” — and not at him comes off as a calculation, on his (and probably the show’s) part. And Mr. Spicer’s later performances have been scary in a different way, like his militaristic Paso Doble, which had a cold brutality to it.
“Which had a cold brutality to it….” Priceless!
All these years you've been making fun of people with degrees in lesbian dance theory.
Then one writes this epic masterpiece.
Well, who's laughing now?

Nothing screams cold brutality like a lime green shirt and white pants. They really could have picked a more brutal pic, cuz the only brutality here is in my sides from laughing.

Kudos to Sean for his courage and for having fun with it. People need to get a grip and stop losing their minds over an entertaining TV show. Maybe just watch something else.

I love how these judges get upset after viewer votes. It's ALWAYS been a popularity contest with viewers. Seems they're just mad that he's so popular. The NYT is just ridiculous, though. Pathetic really.

Spicer is still on the show precisely because of opinion pieces like this one.

My favorite section, as well, Krista!
Really, is there anything worse than "an untruthful dancer"?
When I put my elitist, pretentious hat on, I realize that no, there is nothing that is worse

Well if this isn’t cold brutality, I just don’t know what is anymore

If there is still a shred of disbelief Trump hasn’t driven the left insane this opinion price proves it.

This is why we voted for Sean. Owning libs is a great American pastime.

MSM & liberals don’t get it. Conservatives are rallying around Sean Spicer on #DWTS for 1 reason ... b/c dems FLIPPED OUT when he was simply announced as a contestant on a friking dance show. FLIPPED. OUT.
So what did I do last night? Voted for @seanspicer 10x for the hell of it.
