We’ve done our fair share of awesome tattoo art posts on here, and great work shouldn’t go unnoticed and unappreciated. However, it turns out that some artists are Photoshopping their work to make it look optimal and potentially go viral.

It’s very popular to use blend and smoothing tools in order to make everything look perfect.

I’ve seen a ton of these online and totally loved them without even stopping to think if they were shopped.

I know that when you first get a tattoo, the darks are darker and the tattoo looks more crisp. But it isn’t this drastic, and the light colours are completely enhanced here.

Just like some models alter their photos to get more views and followers and opportunities, some tattoo apparently do the same. Be sure that if you are to get tattooed that you check out their portfolios and make sure that you can trust that they do a great job.
