What on Earth?? Struggling NYC City Council Candidate’s Campaign Handed the New York Post a BDSM Video of Him

The campaign manager for Zack Weiner, who is running for City Council in Manhattan, has bizarrely handed the New York Post a BDSM video of the candidate.

The 26-year-old’s campaign had been struggling to raise funds or get any attention in the city.

The video, filmed at the Parthenon studio in Midtown which is apparently “known” for their BDSM dungeons, first appeared on Twitter, where it was posted by an anonymous account.

“My magnificent domme friend played with Upper West Side city council candidate Zack Weiner and I’m the only one who has the footage,” reads a tweet from the anonymous account which posted the video last week.

 Oddly, the campaign seemed to want the video to be seen, sending it to the New York Post themselves.

“The footage — flagged to The Post by Weiner’s own campaign manager — shows a gagged Weiner, unable to speak, subjecting himself to various abuses by a leather-bound woman who pours wax on him and clips his nipples with clothespins,” the New York Post reports.

In a move eerily similar to a scene from the show Billions, the candidate confirmed that the video was him and said it was taken 18 months ago with a girlfriend.

“I didn’t want anyone to see that, but here we are. I am not ashamed of the private video circulating of me on Twitter. This was a recreational activity that I did with my friend at the time, for fun. Like many young people, I have grown into a world where some of our most private moments have been documented online.” Weiner said in a statement.

“I am a proud BDSMer. I like BDSM activity,” Weiner told The Post.

The campaign manager said that they had reported the account to Twitter and it was briefly suspended, but then restored.

“His campaign has raised barely more than $10,000 — the lion’s share of which has come from Weiner and Gallagher,” the Post reports. “Weiner has a professional background in film production and is the co-founder of Stag Pictures, an independent film production company. Zack’s father, Eric Weiner, is a co-creator of the popular children’s television show ‘Dora The Explorer.'”
