JUST IN: Texas Mass Shooter Identified as 27-Year-Old Larry Bollin – Charged with Murder

 

Authorities late Thursday night identified the Bryan, Texas mass shooter as 27-year-old Larry Bollin.

Police responded to a mass shooting at Kent Moore Cabinets in Bryan, Texas Thursday afternoon.

Bollin shot 6 people, injuring 5 and killing one before he shot and wounded a state trooper.

The state trooper is in serious but stable condition.

Bryan police chief said Larry Bollin was an employee at Kent Moore Cabinets.

One witness said Bollin had previously gotten into an argument with a fellow coworker and when he began shooting on Thursday he was very strategic about who he shot.

Bollin was charged with murder and is being held on $1 million bond.

 Bryan police have identified the suspect in custody for the mass shooting that took place at Kent Moore Cabinets in Bryan.

The suspect was identified as Larry Bollin, 27, of Grimes County.

Police confirm one person was killed and five others were shot Thursday afternoon at Kent Moore Cabinets in Bryan. A Texas Department of Public Safety trooper was also shot in Grimes County in connection to the Bryan business shooting. Police and DPS officials say Bollin was taken into custody in Bedias, but could not rule out whether another suspect was involved.

At a 6 p.m. press conference Bryan Police Chief Eric Buske said they do not have a motive for the suspect in the shooting.

The DPS trooper who was shot in Grimes County while pursuing the suspect was taken by medical helicopter to St. Joseph Health Regional Hospital in Bryan. The trooper was in surgery according to Buske. At last update, the trooper was in serious but stable condition.
