Mother, 46, and her care worker daughter, 18, are ordered OUT of Asda 'for wearing "inappropriate" skimpy summer crop tops'

A mother and daughter have accused Asda of being sexist after they were told to leave their local store because of the way they were dressed.
Chantell Humphreys, 46, and her 18-year-old daughter Isabelle were both wearing 'crop tops' when they visited the Asda store in Broadstairs, Kent on Sunday afternoon.
The pair were told to leave the store by a member of staff who said they were dressed 'inappropriately' for a 'family supermarket'.

Ms Humphreys and her daughter have vowed never to return to Asda due to the way they were treated by staff in the supermarket.
Ms Humphreys told The Sun: 'It was a boiling hot day. We were not going to go in wearing scarves and coats.
'I was so upset at what happened. We queued up to get inside the Asda store and walked past a staff member and got inside. She then turned around and came to us and said we'd have to leave.
'She said what we were wearing was not allowed. She said it was because of our tops. I said this is ridiculous. My daughter is a care worker and works very long hours so doesn't get to go out much. She's 18 and has been working very hard.'
Mrs Humphreys claimed a manager said they would have to leave because their attire was 'not appropriate'.
She said everybody in the store was looking at them and their treatment was 'sexist and insulting'.
An Asda spokesperson said: 'We understand that with the warm weather some of our customers may be visiting the beach, however, we would ask them to consider other customers and dress appropriately when they shop.'
