Liberals Cheer Dixie Chicks’ Creepy “Political” Comeback Song, And Insist It’s About Trump

Since the day Donald Trump launched his campaign for President of the United States, the media and the Democrats have literally accused him of every dirty deed they themselves have committed, or continue to commit on a daily basis. Trump is racist, he is anti-gay, he is controlled by Vladimir Putin. They pushed so many Fake News stories at breakneck speeds, that some Americans became overwhelmed or unsure about how they viewed Trump and thanks to Robert Mueller handed over the House to Democrats in 2018.

That is the literal definition of “gaslighting”, which is the practice of making people unsure of their own reality and choices.

However, yet again, when President Trump responds to these demonstrably false allegations and attacks on his administration, the Democrats and media claim that Trump is the one “gaslighting” the American people.

So it comes as no surprise to see the Democrats and media are celebrating the new single from the Dixie Chicks, their first release in 14 years. Predictably, it’s a man-hate song about “gaslighting”, with an extremely creepy music video to boot. Leftwing rags like VOX have been cheerleading the release and it’s inherent political nature… and it’s President Trump’s fault as usual!

The term “gaslighter,” which comes from a 1944 film in which a man tries to convince his wife that she’s crazy, has become a politically charged term since the 2016 election. “Donald Trump is gaslighting America,” Lauren Duca wrote in a much-shared essay on Teen Vogue, arguing that Trump was trying to make Americans doubt their perception of reality.

Personal or not, “Gaslighter” is political by its very existence.

As you well know, we at The Gateway Pundit do not believe in “cancel culture” and we couldn’t care less about Country music retreads like The Dixie Chicks. However, since Democrats and the leftie rags like VOX have to make it about President Trump, we wanted to remind everyone that it’s not President Trump who is “gaslighting” the American people — it’s the Fake News media, Democrats and Hollyweird.
