The liberals who’ve been crying about their concern for migrant children at the southern border need to hear about this.
For months, Democrats have accused the Trump administration of abusing children who’ve been brought across the border illegally by families just trying to give them a better future.
But a Customs and Border Protection announcement on Tuesday shows who’s really abusing migrant children – and it’s not the Trump White House.
According to Twitter string published Tuesday, Border Patrol agents apprehended a group of 12 illegal immigrants on July 17, including a man traveling with a boy he claimed was his son.
However, records showed the man had been arrested twice in the past month for illegal entry, so Border Patrol agents conducted a DNA test on the two.
Not only did the test show there was no familial relationship between the two, according to the CBP, but the man told agents that he had permission from the boy’s mother to take him.
And it gets worse.
“The man admitted that it is common knowledge in Honduras that if you bring a child, you will be released,” the CBP announcement stated.

Record checks revealed an individual traveling with his alleged son had 2 previous immigration arrests in El Paso Sector just in the past month. Given the recent apprehensions and the age of the child, Agents requested the assistance of HSI to administer a rapid DNA test.

The test revealed there is no parent-child relationship. The man admitted he was not the child’s father, but knew the mother and had permission to the take the child. The man admitted that it is common knowledge in Honduras that if you bring a child, you will be released.

In other words, liberals claim they’re opposed to the Trump administration’s policies on illegal immigration, but the reality is they’re actually advocating policies that make it more dangerous.
Maybe someone from Honduras can let the democrats in on this child borrowing scheme? They seem to think Trump is making it up.

This isn’t the first case where adults have been shown to be using a child to sneak into the United States, of course. Previous reports have shown that almost one-third of border-crossers with children are not related to the minors.
But the statement that it’s “common knowledge in Honduras that if you bring a child, you will be released” is chilling.
If a mother is willing to put her child in the hands of another person, knowing the child is going to be used to play on a sympathetic American government to allow an illegal alien to enter the country without punishment, it’s bad enough.
But for Democrats like Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, who claim to be working on behalf of families, it’s even worse.
What they’re doing is basically allowing entry into the United States to become some kind of prize that can be obtained by an adult simply having access to a child long enough to fool American immigration authorities.
Anything could happen to the child after that – literally anything, including sex trafficking.
But for Democrats obsessed with painting the Trump administration as Nazis who run “concentration camps” on the border, the real welfare of the children apparently means almost nothing.
