Convicted rapist Harvey Weinstein is hit with a new accusation that he forced a woman to perform oral sex on him in a Manhattan nightclub in the mid-90s
Disgraced and imprisoned former producer Harvey Weinstein has been accused of forcing a woman to perform oral sex on him in a Manhattan nightclub in 1995 or 1996.
NYPD detectives are investigating the new accusation against the disgraced movie mogul, who's currently serving a 23-year prison sentence for rape and sexual abuse, police sources told the Daily News.
A 61-year-old woman reported the decades-old incident to a hotline for the NYPD's Special Victims Division. The Daily News did not identify the woman.
Police are investigating the allegation as a first-degree criminal sexual act, which has no statute of limitations, the Daily News reported.

That would mean Weinstein could still be prosecuted over the decades-old accusation, even as he faces 11 rape and sexual assault charges involving five women in Los Angeles.
He has an extradition hearing scheduled for December 11 with prosecutors in Los Angeles County.
Weinstein was convicted in February in Manhattan Supreme Court of third-degree rape and a first-degree criminal sexual act.
A jury decided he was guilty of two charges that dated back several years.

In 2015, Manhattan District Attorney Cyrus Vance declined to bring charges against Weinstein after he was allegedly taped apologizing to Italian model Ambra Battilana when she asked him why he had touched her breasts the previous day.
Weinstein is now serving a 23-year sentence in Wende Correctional Facility in Alden, N.Y.
In 1979 Weinstein founded with his brother Bob Weinstein the indie film distribution company Miramax.
The company released some of the biggest independent box office successes of the 1990s, including 'Pulp Fiction' and 'Shakespeare in Love,' for which Weinstein won an Academy Award.

As he racked up success in Hollywood, rumors of his coercive sexual behavior became punchlines in primetime sitcoms and comedians' routines.
In 2017, over a dozen women came forward and accused the mogul of sexual abuse, precipitating what would quickly become the #MeToo movement.
Weinstein has denied any accusations of nonconsensual sex.
The NYPD, and a spokesperson for Weinstein, did not immediately respond to requests for comment.
