Kamala Harris Leaves Out Right To Life While Reciting Declaration Of Independence In Defense Of Abortion

 Vice President Kamala Harris left out the right to life when quoting the Declaration of Independence on Sunday while speaking about access to abortion.

Harris was speaking in Tallahassee, Florida in honor of the 50th anniversary of the 1973 Supreme Court decision Roe v. Wade which legalized abortion nationwide.

Harris, however, left out the part in the Declaration of Independence that Americans are entitled to life. 

“We collectively believe and know, America is a promise,” Harris said. “It is a promise of freedom and liberty – not for some, but for all.”

“A promise we made in the Declaration of Independence that we are each endowed with the right to liberty and the pursuit of happiness.”

The Declaration of Independence reads: “We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.”

Harris also condemned Republican lawmakers for wanting to limit abortion access, saying “how dare they!”

“Can we truly be free if a woman cannot make decisions about her own body?” Harris asked. “Can we truly be free if the doctor cannot care for her patients? Can we truly be free if families cannot make intimate decisions about the course of their own life?”

A recent poll conducted by the Knights of Columbus, a Catholic charity organization, found that 61% of Americans self-identify as pro-choice.
