House Speaker Nancy Pelosi Finally Responds To Video That Showed Her In A Salon During Lockdown

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi is dancing like Ginger Rogers in her attempts to rid herself of blame after she broke lockdown rules to have her hair done.

After her spokesman said that she complied with the rules the California representative is now saying that she deserves an apology.

“I take responsibility for trusting the word of the neighborhood salon that I’ve been to over the years many times,” she said at a press conference on Wednesday.

“When they said we are able to accommodate people one person at a time and that we can set up that time I trusted that.

As it turns out it was a set up, so I take responsibility for falling for a setup,” the 80-year-old Pelosi said.

“I think that this salon owes me an apology, for setting me up,” the Speaker of the House said to reporters.

But yesterday she did not think it was a setup and she had complied with all of the rules, her spokesman said.

“The speaker always wears a mask and complies with local Covid requirements,” Pelosi’s Deputy Chief of Staff Drew Hammill said of the video in which she is seen not wearing a mask.

“This business offered for the speaker to come in on Monday and told her they were allowed by the city to have one customer at a time in the business,” he said.

“The speaker complied with the rules as presented to her by this establishment,” he said, as if the Speaker does not know the rules of her state and needs a salon to tell her.

President Donald Trump has reveled in the hypocrisy of Pelosi and the fact that she got caught after a salon owner showed the video of her in the salon.

“The Beauty Parlor owner must really dislike Crazy Nancy Pelosi. Turning her in, on tape, is a really big deal,” the president said.

“She probably treats him like she treats everyone else…And she strongly supported a Kennedy who just lost in, of all places, Massachusetts!”

“Crazy Nancy Pelosi is being decimated for having a beauty parlor opened, when all others are closed, and for not wearing a Mask – despite constantly lecturing everyone else.

“We will almost certainly take back the House, and send Nancy packing!” the president said in another tweet.
