Black Man Runs Drive By Shooting On Trump Supporters Including Women And Children

In another story you will likely not see on CNN or the mainstream news, a black man opened fire on a group of supporters of President Donald Trump, including women and children.

The incident occurred on Tuesday when Marquise Damarius Asomani, 23, ran a drive by on a group of women in South Carolina who were holding a pro-Trump rally, WCSC reported.

Officers said that witnesses described the shooter as driving “by more than once, making derogatory remarks and yelling obscenities at them from their vehicle.”

The man was yelling out of his car window as he stuck his hand out with what appeared to be a handgun.

”All of a sudden you know bang bang bang bang bang bang bang” one of the demonstrators,  Matthew Ostrowski, said.

“It was ridiculous. There were kids everywhere,” he said. “They drove by really slow and saw everybody, so they knew exactly who was there.”

A trooper who was nearby gave chase and when he located the vehicle involved in the shooting he found it abandoned.

Later he saw another vehicle leaving the area with one of the people in it wearing clothing that matched that of the shooter.

After further investigation, and with evidence recovered, police say two of the males were released without charges. The driver of the vehicle, identified as 23-year-old Marquise Damarius Asomani of Charlotte, was taken into custody.

Asomani is charged with six counts of assault and battery of a high and aggravated nature and one count each of unlawful carrying of a pistol, pointing and presenting firearms at a person and possession of a firearm during a violent crime.

“I think it’s sad honestly that we’re showing support for the president and you have to be nervous about somebody coming and doing this,” rally goer Lindsey Portugal said. “I mean that’s just discouraging.”

Ostrowski said that the shooting should not frighten other supporters of the president but, rather, encourage them to continue the fight.

”If anything this energizes me more and after this incident,” he said. “It’s done the same for many many people.”

“Everybody was cutting up and having fun and laughing and everybody on 77 was blowing the horns and waving,” Angie Freeman said to WSOCTV.

“We had all the windows down because we had all the flags out the windows, and it was very loud and it was four or five shots.”

“You could tell that they slowed down and I just heard, like, ‘Da da da,’ you know just three rapid, what definitely sounded like gunfire,” Shawna Winter said. “I think it’s a shame that we can’t show our support for our president.”
