MSNBC’s Wallace Claims She ‘Misspoke’ Saying Trump Is Genocidal, Gets Blasted Online

Far-left MSNBC host Nicolle Wallace claimed she "misspoke" on Tuesday when she falsely claimed that President Donald Trump was "talking about exterminating Latinos." Wallace was subsequently slammed online, as many did not believe that her apology was authentic due to her history of making extreme comments.
Reaction to Wallace's comments was intense online, which quickly prompted her to tweet out a statement claiming that she was "sorry" for claiming that the president was genocidal.
"I misspoke about Trump calling for an extermination of Latinos. My mistake was unintentional and I'm sorry. Trump's constant assault on people of color and his use of the word 'invasion' to describe the flow of immigrants is intentional and constant."
Wallace's statement generated even more backlash on Twitter, with many prominent figures suggesting that she was lying about misspeaking.
NewsBusters Vice President Dan Gainor tweeted, "This is among the most unethical things I've ever seen. She should be fired immediately and never let on a legitimate news station ever again."
Radio host Larry O'Connor tweeted, " 'misspoke' And they'll continue to say Trump is the greatest threat to the news media."
Second Amendment expert Cam Edwards tweeted, "If you'd stopped with 'I'm sorry' I might have believed you were sincere."
Fox News host Greg Gutfeld tweeted, "translation: 'trump didn't say kill all latinos — but it wasn't my fault because he meant it anyway!'"
The Blaze's Jason Howerton tweeted, "How the hell do you 'misspeak' about [] whether the President of the United States is calling for the 'extermination of Latinos.' Unreal."
Radio Host Jason Rantz tweeted, "That she's pretending this passes for an apology is astounding. She didn't misspeak — and she uses an 'apology' to attack Trump because she knows this will get picked up. She meant what she said. All day MSNBC implied Trump wants mass murder."

Columnist Caroline Glick tweeted simply, "You're disgusting."
The Federalist's Chad Felix Greene tweeted, "An important time to remember how @vijaya and @TwitterSafety responded to Alex Jones in this strikingly similar situation."
Nick Searcy tweeted, "You didn't misspeak. You lied. Furthermore, @NicolleDWallace, you aren't sorry. No one believes you except your minuscule audience. Carry on."
Daily Wire Editor-at-Large Josh Hammer tweeted, "It is extraordinarily difficult to believe that Wallace didn't know exactly what she was doing."
Sebastian Gorka tweeted, "This is called: Calling someone a genocidal Nazi and then pretending to apologize."
CNN's Steve Cortes tweeted, "You 'misspoke'? An apology — even this one, sullied by further insults of Trump — is a good first step, Nicolle. But saying you 'misspoke' hardly covers for accusing our elected president of genocide. I wonder why he calls you and your colleagues 'enemies of the people'?..."

Fox News contributor Tammy Bruce tweeted, "One doesn't 'accidentally' accuse someone of calling for the extermination of people. 'Misspoke'?! It was a lie when she said it and the apology is a lie. What the hell is going on?"
Breitbart's Kyle Morris tweeted, "Your 'mistake' was certainly not unintentional. You knew full well your motive and you're only 'sorry' because it caught up with you. You're fooling no one, Nicolle."
