Teacher and part-time model charged with having sexual relationship with pupil aged 10

A school teacher has been arrested for allegedly sexually assaulting a student aged TEN.

Police in Canada were called to investigate when the alleged relationship between the student and married teacher became known.

Krystal Wilson, 31, has been charged with two counts of sexual assault and two counts of sexual interference with one of her male students.

The incidents allegedly took place while Wilson was teaching at Da Vinci Public School in Ajax, Ontario, during the 2017-18 school year.

Local media reported she she currently teaches at Roland Michener Public School in Ajax, Ontario but revealed she also taught at Vincent Massey Public School and Dr. S.J. Phillips, both in Oshawa.

Wilson also appeared as a teacher in a commercial for radio station CHFI and was seen welcoming morning hosts Darren Lamb and Maureen Holloway.

The paper said she is a keen singer using the name Krystal Voice.

In an interview with music website Smart Is So Sexy, she said she had been singing and writing gospel and R&B music since she was four.

“I am blessed to be an elementary school teacher,” she told the website. “Which allows me to not only impact our youth but share with them my passion for the arts.”

In her bio she claimed she worked with some of Toronto’s 'top studios and producers'.

During the interview she also admitted to suffering suffering from depression.

And she said: “I felt myself getting worse daily, not wanting to get out of bed or eat properly (sometimes not eating at all).”

She said: “I hid my emotional state from the people closest to me in an effort to maintain my image.”

Wilson added that through her music she "released a lot of pain".

A statement from the Durham District School Board said the teacher is on leave and added that it is “cooperating with the Durham Children’s Aid Society and the Durham Regional Police Service.”

Constable George Tudos told CTV : “We want to make sure that if anyone has any information that they contact their regional police sexual assault unit.”

The teacher was released on $5,000 bail and cannot have contact with anyone under 14 unless accompanied by an adult over 21 years of age.
